When Angela Boatwright was born on May 20, 1975 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the first Boatwright born in the North. Years later, at a Guns N'Roses/Aerosmith show in nearby Buckeye Lake, Angela was reborn in the name of metal. It was around that time she started taking pictures of her favorite bands, moving from metal to hardcore to skate, her pictures gracing the pages of everything from "Anti-Matter" to "Trasher." Since turning pro in 1998, Angela's shot everyone from Redman to Rachel Weisz, had work appear in magazines ranging from "Jane" to "Arktip," and has been in shows from coast to coast, from Max Fish (NYC) to the Panorama Project (SF/NYC) to this exhibit right here. She is the current photo editor of "Mass
Appeal," and after all she's been through as a photographer and a Boatwright, she still finds time to play along to Def Leppard records almost every day.
